Who we are

Stonewren is a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, building the apps listed on this site. For the purposes of UK GDPR, Stonewren is the data controller for the information described below. Contact: support@stonewren.dev.

The short version

Our apps request the narrowest permissions that let them do their job, store as little as possible, and never sell your data or share it with advertisers. We do not use your data to train machine-learning models. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this website.

Subitem Templates (monday.com)

This app runs entirely in your browser inside monday.com. There is no Stonewren server involved in its operation: the app's page is static, and every read and write goes directly between your browser and monday.com's API, authenticated as you by monday.

What it accesses. On the board you are using it on, the app reads the board's columns and its subscriber list, so it can offer owner and status choices, and it reads an item's existing subitems when you use the Capture feature. It creates subitems when you apply a template, and deletes exactly those subitems if you use Undo.

What it stores, and where. Your saved templates are stored using monday.com's own app-storage API, inside your monday.com account. They are not transmitted to or held by Stonewren, and we cannot see them. No copy of your board data, item data or user list is kept by Stonewren.

Deletion. Deleting a template in the app removes it. Uninstalling the app removes the app's stored data from your account through monday.com; subitems already created on your boards are your own board data and are unaffected.

Bulk Discount Codes (Shopify)

What it accesses. The app requests permission to manage discounts, and no other scope. It does not read customers, orders or products.

What it stores. To generate, display and export your code sets, the app stores your store's myshopify domain, the access token issued by Shopify at install, the code sets you create together with their codes and settings, your plan and usage counts, and any API keys you generate. Data is held on servers in the European Union.

Deletion. Uninstalling the app revokes its access. Store data is deleted within 30 days of uninstall, and Shopify's own shop-redact and customer-redact requests are honoured. To have data removed sooner, email support@stonewren.dev from an address on the store's account.

Support email

If you email support, we keep that correspondence so we can follow up and recognise a recurring problem. It is stored in our email provider's system and is deleted when it is no longer needed for support purposes, at most two years after the conversation ends.

Sub-processors

We use a small number of service providers to run the apps: a cloud hosting provider for the Shopify app's server and this website, and an email provider for the support address. The monday.com app's data stays with monday.com. Providers are used only to deliver the service, are bound by their own data-protection terms, and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Legal basis and your rights

We process this information to perform the contract you enter into by installing and using an app, and — for support correspondence — on the basis of our legitimate interest in helping our own customers. You have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to processing, and to receive a copy in a portable form. Email support@stonewren.dev and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and asks for no personal information. Standard server logs may record requests, including IP addresses, for security and to diagnose faults; they are kept briefly and are not used to build any profile of visitors.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, the date at the top of this page is updated, and material changes are announced in the affected app's listing or by email to its users.
